KOP Warwick |

Just like this year, the KOP Warwick project last year was VIMA and our first two days were spent meeting the staff and children, going to the school of some of the children VIMA support and also going to their home. We spent time playing with the children, talking to their parents and foster parents and seeing how the money we raised was being used. Our first day ended with us watching the sunset over Lake Victoria!

Finally we visited a feeding centre, one of two built and supported by KOP. It provides children with two nourishing meals a day so that they do not have to work to feed themselves and can instead go to school. The aim is for the centres to be self-sustaining, by keeping chickens and growing vegetables, they also provide some employment for the local people who run them.
